When the starting point is at the right BPM, the sounds are 'club appropriate' and the WHOMP is already done, remixing can be a relatively straightforward process; but when the original is a blissed out, ethereal future-classic that drifts around at a stoner's BPM you have a whole raft of challenges to deal with .... and that's something I love. Genuine challenges bring the best out of you as a remixer and force you to navigate your way through the musical minefield with fresh eyes & ears, and the end product, when it comes together can often be something you're hugely proud of. This is one of those mixes.
